| Message | I wrecked my first Z at 18 yrs old too~in 91 I had a 1990 Charcoal Gray TT with 20k miles...I only had it a month, before I wanted to see if I could bury the speedometer. I did, on a long downgrade on 81 North in Pennsylvania at 3 A.M. --well, a guy entered the highway from the right up ahead of me. No problem, I thought, as I was in the left lane...but I didn't realize that at 160 I would be approaching him at a minumum of 90+ when he cut right over to the left lane...I tried to steer around his right side, and I still don't know if I oversteered or if the HICAS did it, but my tail kicked out, and I passes him sideways, 720 style...I saw him, highway, guardrail, highway, him again, then I just held on and hoped...seemingly forever, til I did a four corner hit to the guardrail...Amazing car...I walked away. So 13 years later I've finally gotten behind a Z again...Still kept my original titanium key...I've been told that the locks can be keyed to the key...but I'm satisfied as to the ability of the car....so I'm planning on keeping this one for a long time!
Glad you and your passenger came out of this O.K.!
